Center Street Village

Center Street Village is state-aided public housing for applicants 60 years or older or disabled persons under 60. Center Street Village is located at 167 Center Street, South Dennis. Our first Elderly/Disabled property built in 1975, it contains 52 one-bedroom apartments in a two story building. Four apartments are wheel-chair accessible. A minimum of seven apartments are set aside for residents that are non-elderly. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. There are pets allowed (subject to the Pet Policy), on-site mail, laundry, garbage pick-up, and limited resident parking. A spacious community room serves as a meeting room, television viewing, function hall and friendly gathering place. Rent is set at 30% of household income and all utilities (except telephone) are included in the rent, which is based on household income. Dennis residents will receive a resident preference when applying. See income limits.

Windmill Village

Windmill Village is state-aided public housing for applicants 60 years or older or disabled persons under 60. Windmill Village is located at 109 Upper County Rd. South Dennis. Built in 1974 and purchased by the housing authority a few years later. It contains 38 two-bedroom apartments and 2 one-bedroom apartments in a two story building. A minimum of five apartments are set asisde for residents that are non-elderly. There is no elevator. There are pets allowed (subject to the Pet Policy), on-site mail, laundry, garbage pick-up, and limited resident parking. A spacious community room serves as a meeting room, bingo/ function hall and friendly gathering place. Rent is set at 30% of household income and all utilities (except telephone) are included in the rent. Dennis residents will receive preference when applying. See income limits.

Old Bass River Village

Old Bass River Village is state-aided public housing for applicants 60 years or older or disabled persons under 60. Old Bass River Village is located at 226 Old Bass River Village, South Dennis. Built in 1986 it contains 32 one-bedroom apartments in a two story building. Two apartments are wheel-chair accessible. A minimum of four apartments are set aside for residents that are non-elderly. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. There are pets allowed (subject to the Pet Policy) onsite mail, laundry, garbage pick-up, and resident parking. A spacious community room serves as a meeting room, function hall and friendly gathering place. Rent is set at 30% of household income and all utilities (except telephone) are included in the rent. Mulhern Drive

Mulhern Drive is State-aided Family Public Housing. Mulhern Drive is located off Bob Crowell Rd. in South Dennis. Built in 1986 it contains Multi-dweling 2 story units with 10 three bedroom apartments and 2 four bedroom apartments. One apartment is wheel-chair accessible. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. Pets are not allowed. There is laundry hook-up in each unit. There is garbage pick-up and onsite resident parking. There is not onsite mail delivery. Grassy Pond Drive

Grassy Pond is State-aided Family Public Housing. The property was built in 1972 and contains two one story duplex units each with three bedrooms. Pets are not allowed. There is laundry hook-up in the basement of each unit. There is garbarge pick-up and onsite resident parking as well as maily delivery. Rent is set at 27% of household income and residents pay all utilities. Dennis Residents will receive preference when applying. See income limits.

Bayridge Drive

Bayridge is State-aided Family Public Housing. The property was built in 1972 and contains two one story duplex units each with three bedrooms. Pets are not allowed. Special Needs Housing

The property was built in 1961 and contains 8 bedrooms. It is a group home, the DHA works in conjuction with the service provider (Fellowship Health Resources) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH) in order to provide safe decent housing in a residential setting for their clients. Applications and placement are done through the service provider. Monthly client fee structures are determined by the provider as well.
